Imagine the aroma of
home-baked bread and fresh herbs, the
vision of each plate creatively presented, the flavor of
mouth watering sauces and marinades; add to this picture a
relaxing, comfortable ambiance and you have a
Thayer's dining experience.

Dining room is
available 365 days per year

We can
easily seat 35 guests and up to 45 comfortably.

An
overnight stay is not required to rent the dining room.
Cost is $200 plus tax, per hour.

Rent a minimum of
6 guest rooms or
Rent the Entire House and the dining room rental is
FREE.

Dinners,
when Sharon Gammell is your Chef, may include as many or as few courses as you like, a 4
Course Dinner usually takes about 2.5 hours.
An automatic 20% service
gratuity & 6.5% sale tax applies.

Gammell
Sharon Gammell is
not only a talented psychic and hostess, she is an outstanding chef who is happy to accommodate her guests with a
flexible menu, wonderful staff and extraordinary surroundings.
Sharon Gammell is a self-taught
gourmet chef of 30 plus years. She has had
successful restaurants in Saint Paul and
Minneapolis, Minnesota and over the years has
catered to groups as small as 2 and as large as
1,500.
In 1993, when the Gammell's
purchased Thayer's building, the dining area was leased to and managed
by another party. Finally, in late December 1994, circumstances
changed and Sharon & Warren were able to incorporate the dining area into
their bed & breakfast and offer guests an
outstanding dining experience.
The food, style, taste and
presentations at Thayer's are amazing. Sharon Gammell cooks without
recipes and has an eye and imagination for
delightful twists to tempt your palate. She can
take the ordinary to new and extraordinary.
Preferring traditional to trendy, her food takes
on a comfortable and familiar persona, but don't
be fooled, her food is not traditional.
As the owner of Thayer's,
Sharon Gammell wears many hats. She is first and foremost a
gifted psychic, then an
innkeeper, chef, wedding officiate, bookkeeper, decorator, maid, supervisor, and perfectionist
so, whether she happens to be doing a psychic reading, teaching
a class in the paranormal, making you hot chocolate or a
coffee, cooking your dinner, , making your
bed, or serving your breakfast, rest assured
everything here at Thayer's B&B will meet her high standards.
