Thayer's is pleased to offer you a superb location for your
Private Event 365 days a year!
 Our "Old
West" Victorian surroundings are not only gorgeous,
and
historic, they are comfortable, unforgettable, and make a grand
impression for up to 50 guests!
 Our
dining room seats 45 to 50 guests and is a lovely space for
a traditional Victorian Wedding & Reception, Afternoon
tea, bridal shower, reunion or business meeting.
The menus
offered afford you an experience in unequaled cuisine, rich in
flavor and presentation. Guests claim we have “the
finest food available in the area.” We are proud to
have been described as "a class act without the
attitude" and we hear often that we are over achievers and
perfectionists!
 Our
standard fare could be described as gourmet comfort food. We
make and serve homemade bread and desserts, specially cut
meats, seafood purchased the day of serving and sauces made
from real butter and cream. Our signature salads and homemade
raspberry vinaigrette draw raves from customers. Our food is
ordered and prepared per plate to guarantee freshness and
flavor.
 Special diets
& customized menus needed for Gluten Free -
Dairy Free, Heart Healthy, Vegan and Vegetarian are
available and welcomed when you have your private
event here at Thayer's!

Whether your event is a
business meeting, reunion, prom or family gathering,
simple casual or elegant and refined, be
prepared to converse, relax and enjoy luscious, beautifully
presented meals, fine accommodations and exceptional service.

When you
wish to rent just the garden, dining room, or the
entire house,
Thayer's is available 365 days per year

Private and
Group Events do not require a B&B stay.

Thayer's dining room can
easily seat 45 guests and up to 50; having more than 50 guests
gets crowded.

Dining room rental includes
the space, 50 chairs, and one linen table cloth for each
table (we have 10 tables)

Additional tables, Table skirting, Napkins,
China, Flatware, Glassware and serving pieces are
available for an additional charge.

Most
Private
and Group events require a non-refundable $950 pre-payment or payment
in full which ever is less, to secure your date; any
remaining balance is due 45 days prior to the event.

Once a Private Event is
paid for, the price is locked in. There will be no
increases due to market changes.

Smoking
is only allowed outside in designated areas

We
accept Visa, MC, American Express, cash and
personal and company checks as payment.

If it is
necessary to cancel a private event, we will work with
you as best we can. Please check our

Videos of weddings and other special events are allowed

No videos of
Murder Mystery Dinners are allowed.

Still photos are
always fine.

beautiful guest rooms have private baths, our beds are
comfortable, the antiques are authentic, our gardens are
relaxing, the food served is delicious, plus our helpful,
experienced staff, our kitties and our ghosts are friendly.

We do not have a liquor
license.

When renting
guest rooms, MN liquor laws permit you and your guests
to bring in wine, for
personal use,
to be enjoyed in your rooms.
