been known to knock off a killer now and again!...

began doing Murder Mystery dinners in 1993 and she has the honor

entire USA that offer Murder Mystery dinners!

How
do Thayer's Murder Mysteries work?
-
Prior to the
murder mystery dinner,
( about 8 to 10 days before) we mail each person participating in the
murder mystery, an information packet
(A Personal & Confidential Character Profile) that includes a full
character description & costume ideas.
-
When
making arrangements for others, we must have everyone's
addresses in your party
-
Characters
are not gender specific.
-
You
may tell each other who your character is but, DO NOT tell
anyone what your character knows until you get to the
mystery.
-
PLEASE
DO NOT read anyone else's character profile.
-
Festivities
begin around 6:30pm with complimentary
appetizers and dinner and the mystery last about 3 hours.
-
After
the dastardly deed has been done, sometime during the
evening, it's time to solve the Mystery and find the
killer.
-
Thayer's
Murder Mysteries are designed to have fun! please, don't
get excited about mistakes. Our Mysteries are written
so that when mistakes happen- it's OK.

is a Scheduled Murder
Mystery Dinner?

A
scheduled Mystery dinner is one that we have the date already set
up in our scheduled events calendar

Scheduled
Mysteries are held at least once a quarter.

Scheduled
Mysteries are open to singles, couples and groups

We have a
collection of many plots and eras dating from 400BC
right up to today in our mystery library.

Each
scheduled Murder Mystery Dinner has
different suspects, characters, victims and
murderers for every time they are played out. You can join in the fun
often and always be surprised with the
outcome!

Not interested in an overnight
stay? No problem! You can setup a private Murder
Mystery dinner for you and your group. Here is the link:

what do we get to eat ?

Murder
Mystery Dinner Menus change to include requests and dietary requirements. Here
is a menu we served not long ago:
Appetizers
- Fresh
strawberries, red seedless grapes and cheddar cheese bites, Deviled eggs, liver
pate' and crackers and water chestnuts and bacon.
Soup
– Green Bean and Almond
Salad
- Thayer’s
wedged salad with Ranch peppercorn dressing
Bread
- Homemade
white and wheat swirl served with real butter
Entrée
- 7oz
Filet Mignon Steak with Mushrooms and a peppercorn
cognac sauce - A tender cut of
aged Angus beef, moist and delicious; lightly
marinated and seasoned with just a hint of garlic.
Accompanied by wild rice pilaf and fresh
glazed veggies.
Dessert
